Fenrir's wood is a Tumblr-based supernatural city rp set in the fictional city of Fenrir's Wood in the UK.

Werewolves are NOT born, but always made, back in the day the curse upon the Viking warriors could’ve been lifted as long as they would not bite another person. Sadly, often more by accident than not, the pack continued to grow. New families would bite their children, despite knowing that only one in five would survive the illness that followed. FENRIR’s main pack; called FENRIR PACK, have called for the biting of family members to be illegal and murder, they protect the innocent and take care of those accidentally bitten. They’re protected by the covens in the city, and play important roles in the city. FENRIRSWOOD has two more packs, smaller ones consisting of those who loathe the FENRIR PACK (SLOUGH PACK) or those who came to the city with no intention of joining (GLOVER PACK).Werewolves are mortal, their weaknesses are fire and silver, and they can change on command, however during the Full Moon they have no control over themselves, their changing, or whatever they’ll do in the hours that they’re a wolf. Their wolf form is not much different from actual wolves, who are a protected species within the land surrounding FENRIRSWOOD.

Witches have been in the city almost as long as the Werewolves have, but came into existence in much a different way when a hunt on witches led a lot of them to this safe haven, where the werewolves vowed to protect them.

Witches have an affinity with nature, they communicate with spirits, these are creatures of chaos that inhabit every part of the known world, they can control some of the elements and change the balance of nature, however, they need a good standing with the spirits to do so: by leaving gifts, thanking them for their help, or really driving their intention. Instead of moving the wind, they ask the spirits to move it for them. Instead of talking to the dead, they ask the door to be opened so they can speak with them. The most powerful witches are most often the oldest ones, who have spend their whole life collecting goodwill.

Having housed the working class since the Industrial Revolution, Fork’s Road is a testament of its time. The buildings are falling apart - or seem to be - electricity is always falling out, and all the residents usually have to hide out in the city’s public school when a storm hits. Fork’s Road houses a lot of low-income students, singles, and some low-income households.

Sune's Harbour

This older part of the city is where it is said the Vikings first arrived. While the only water near Fenrirswood is a small creek, nobody really believes the Vikings arrived there by boats. But tradition and repetition has led it to bear this name. The houses in this neighbourhood are older, it houses many pubs and local restaurants, and the oldest college in the city.

Fenway

Modest three-story houses border every single small street, tiny parks break the monotone, and public buildings such as libraries, schools, sport fields, and car parks are aplenty in this part of the city. Fenway is the best spot to live when you have a family, with the most schools of any neighbourhood, access to the city centre, and to Sune’s Harbour. Fenway also houses the city’s hospital and caregiving homes.

Wood Road

While also an older part of the city, when Sune’s Harbour decayed, money was put into the restoration and protection of property and land within the neighbourhood of Wood Road. It holds the most prestigious university and library, houses many rich people, expensive restaurants, and the city’s biggest indoor swimming pool. It is also known as the centre of the city, while the city’s railway station is in Fork’s Road.

Grant Park

Built from the ground up in the early 80s, Grant Park has been building and rebuilding over the last decades. It’s new, it’s clean, it has all the dance clubs, the bars, and always seems to be alive 24/7. It is a combination between Industrial buildings and large mansions, between bustling new businesses and apartment buildings for those looking for a loft. It pretends to be hip and cool, while slowly driving out all the people who can’t afford to stay there.
